Clayton's Autocare is a small, owner-operated mobile detailing business based in Lambourn. The person who answers the phone is the person who does the work, which is what makes a recurring schedule something we can actually hold to.
The idea
Built around maintenance, not one-off cleaning.
Most mobile cleaning is sold one job at a time. A car is cleaned once it has become bad enough to be worth booking, returned to an acceptable state, and left to deteriorate again. Every job therefore starts from the same position and carries the same cost.
Clayton's Autocare is structured the other way round. The heavy work is done once, at the start. Shorter scheduled visits then hold that standard, which keeps each visit quick, keeps the price down, and removes the decision about when to book.

Every price is published on this site, including the vehicle tiers, the add-ons and the multi-car discounts. The tier is confirmed before booking, not adjusted afterwards.
The round is small on purpose
The round is built around Lambourn, Eastbury, East Garston, close enough together that a fortnightly commitment is one we can hold to in November as well as in August.
Being straight about it
What this business does not do.
The business launched in 2026. There are no testimonials on this site because there is not yet a body of them worth publishing, and inventing them would be a poor way to begin. Feedback is left directly on the Google Business Profile, where it can be read in full and cannot be edited by us.
There is no online checkout and no button that confirms an appointment automatically. Bookings are agreed in conversation, because a mobile job depends on the vehicle, the parking and the access, none of which a form can assess reliably.
One treatment is still missing. Odour removal needs equipment we have not bought, so it is not sold. Anything else added later will appear on the plans page with a price attached, rather than being offered in advance.

Setup, then maintenance.
The Premium Setup Wash covers decontamination, a thorough exterior, a full interior and a paint sealant. It is the longest visit and it only happens once. From then on, maintenance visits cover the exterior and wheels, an interior vacuum and wipe-down, and glass.
Visits are grouped village by village so the round stays tight, which is what keeps the maintenance price where it is. Visits run weekly, fortnightly, every three weeks or monthly, paid either by recurring card payment or per visit. Where two or three cars share a driveway they are done in the same visit, and the price comes down accordingly.
